With the official ground breaking ceremony on 14 December, the construction of a new production hall, that also serves as a storage room can be started.
The new hall adjoins the current production halls and will offer GEA Bock more room that became necessary with the expansion of the company. In the future, parts of the current storage room, the shipment of spare parts as well as the assembly of refrigeration units will be stored in the new hall. This opens up new possibilities for the company to optimize production processes.
At the ground breaking ceremony, Managing Director Klaus Stojentin stated that GEA Bock will continue to keep Frickenhausen as a production site in the future: “For us, Frickenhausen will not only be home of the headquarters, we also see the Frickenhausen site as a competence center for small and medium-sized piston compressors and an important production site for GEA Bock”.
